How To Get Your
Webpages Indexed Quickly and Easily
by Ed Duvall
One of your big goals if you're a webmaster or site owner
is to get your webpages listed or indexed in the major search engines. By major se's I
really mean google, yahoo & msn.
To get pages indexed usually means submitting them by
using the individual SE submission forms.
But doing so using the methods given by the search
engines themselves, mainly the Add A URL" submission form, can take 4-8 weeks,
maybe longer.
So you've put in a lot of work and effort on your website
only to realize that seems like a long time to wait in order to get listed and then who
knows how long before any traffic results from getting listed.
Realistically, the sooner you get listed the sooner you'll
benefit.
Well yes and know. You'll benefit more so if your site is
optimized for the search engines using the appropriate keywords, content, tags and links.
But you won't get those benefits if you haven't done so.
I'll assume that you have optimized your pages and we won't
go into SEO in any detail here.
Here's 1 of the 5 shortcuts to getting your pages
indexedin a short time. You can learn the other 4 shortcuts by downloading my special

One of the more direct methods
to get your pages indexed
quickly is to write a Press Release about your site or
ofa new product or service you're offering.
After you've written and refined your press release you want to post
it through PR Web which will help toaccelerate the indexing of your web pages. This
one
press release will cause the search engine spiders to immediately come to spider your
website.
Why PR Web?
You want to use PR Web simply because this website gets spidered several times a day
because the SE's have recognized that it is a site that provides continually changing
and updating content. Which is what they like.
So in a nutshell you write a press release and include a link in it to the
specific page you want the SE's to spider.
Doing this should also end up with the spiders indexing
several levels deep on your site.
If your site is brand new the link in the Press Release
should be to your main page on your site..
PRweb and other pr services will syndicate your site all over the internet. Which means
that within hours of sending your press release, you will have hundreds of links pointing
to your web page.
